FLORIDA TASK FORCE 6 | TRAINING MANAGER AND RESCUE SPECIALIST

Colin has been in the fire service since 2010. Currently, holding the position of Training Captain with the Bonita Springs Fire Department and also serves as the Training Manager and Rescue Specialist for Florida Task Force 6, our regional USAR team. While he has a deep passion for all aspects of the fire service, he is particularly drawn to truck work, with a focus on Search, Survival and RIT. Sharing his knowledge and passion for the fire service is one of his greatest joys, and he has had the privilege of instructing at conferences such as the Orlando Fire Conference, Fort Lauderdale Fire Expo, and FDIC. He is committed to being a lifelong student of the game and continually seeks opportunities to expand his knowledge and expertise in our craft. 

 

Colin is married to his beautiful wife of 11 years and has two amazing daughters. When he is not in fire gear you can find him in workout clothes doing some sort of functional or Crossfit workout. He loves to go diving and spear fishing and you can also find him attempting to live out his childhood dream of playing baseball, only in the form of public safety softball tournaments.
